Loved it as much as the first, and especially enjoyed reading from the added POV of [redacted]. Itching for the third book to come out so I can find out what happens next!
Somehow these books are making me care about Hungarian history almost as much as I care about the characters! What a compelling and beautiful story. I can't wait for the final book!
Enjoyable follow up to the first book. Do not start with this book - Reading the first novel in the series is highly reccomended. If you enjoy fantasy stories rooted in history, these books should be right up your alley.

Main characters struggle to be heard/taken seriously by society is a pretty topical issue, but handled well. Some fun/interesting twists on fairy tale lore to boot.

Fun summer read!
Rosalyn Eves does it again! From the first book I have loved Anna and her defiance, even though she sometimes looses faith in herself I never do! This book had so many turns for me that I could not wait to finish it! Of course (without giving away spoilers) enjoyed returning character and new ones. Every word I read drives me to go deeper in this world and cannot wait for the next book!
With the binding broken, Anna thinks that the world should be a better place. No more controlling nobility. No more prejudice. But things aren’t as they should be, and Austria and Hungary are thrown into chaos.

Fans of the first book will love what Eves has done in this sequel. The world is expanded upon and the stakes are higher for everyone, especially Anna. The historical details—which are a delight—are seamlessly woven in to this tightly plotted story. My heart broke for the characters at times, but it also soared as they reached new levels of bravery and vulnerability. Highly recommended!
I just finished this EPICALLY AWESOME book and now I'm crying over the fact that I'll have to wait a million years for Book 3. I often find that the second book in a trilogy is my least favorite, but in this case, I loved LOST CROW CONSPIRACY even more than BLOOD ROSE REBELLION. Combining political intrigue, glittering social affairs, gorgeous mythology, lyrical prose, and just enough romance to keep my heart pumping, this was everything I love in a historical fantasy.
